Below is a detailed itinerary of the weekend. Timing is subject to change if weird stuff arises, but we will hopefully follow the script! <3

Duck Duck Swan – Instructions
How To Play: DUCK DUCK SWAN is very similar to popular childhood party-game DUCK DUCK GOOSE, except the entirety of Swansea (rather than a circle of select human agents) might participate.*
In DUCK DUCK SWAN, each player is invited to conceptualize any thing or body as a potential participant to ‘DUCK’, ‘DUCK’, ‘DUCK’, ‘DUCK’, ‘DUCK’, ‘DUCK’, ‘DUCK’
and eventually ‘SWAN’, at which point the ‘SWAN’d chases then gets you to become they/it who are/is doing the ‘DUCK’-ing and ‘SWAN’-ing.
You might ‘DUCK’ a rogue crisp packet, rain, a fluffy chihuahua, for example, then ‘SWAN’ exhaust fumes who proceeds to ‘DUCK’ a baby, lichen, the pavement, et cetera, before ‘SWAN’-ing a fallen leaf. So on and so forth.
DUCK DUCK SWAN is an imaginative exercise that brings into question what has been fashionably termed t h i n g – p o w e r (see Jane Bennett, Vibrant Matter: A Political Ecology of Things (2009)); watch the action unfold, recording any
notable observations as you see fit (perhaps even upon this piece of paper). After 30 minutes, return your findings back at base for collective review.
